For 6-16 year olds - 10 teams playing in Boys' League, on Oxford Marathons' pitches at Oxford Road, Horspath. Games are played in the Oxford Mail Boys League. A practice pitch with lighting is used near the Village Hall. Horspath Cricket Club
A thriving friendly club playing at the Recreation Ground in Horspath Village which is situated to the right of the Village Hall as you enter the car park. Horspath CC has three men's teams in the Cherwell League, and five youth teams, playing every Saturday, most Sundays (also in friendly matches) and on some weekday evenings in the summer. The season runs from May to September. Playing and social members are welcomed. Horspath is very proud of its cricketing traditions and the cricket club has one of the largest social memberships in Oxfordshire. HCC has three teams playing in the Oxford Times Cherwell League and youth teams ranging from Under 17 to Under 11. Horspath Cycle Speedway
An excellently maintained track near the Village Hall. The general public are welcome to attend meetings during the season which is March to October. After 53 years Horspath have finally got their hands on the sports most prestigous trophy, following an awesome display at Eaton Park, Norwich where they defeated the defending champions Leicester Monarchs 95-81 in the Final.
Horspath Village Sports Association

The Cricket Club is now part of the Association and as such it receives a grant to assist with the maintenance of cricket on the Recreation Ground.
