What can I recycle?
SODC has produced a list of the different items which can be recycled in your green wheelie bin. You can read the list here (PDF format 29 Kb).
What can I put in my food waste bin?
SODC has produced a list of the different items which you can put in your dark-green food waste bin. You can read the list here (PDF format 29 Kb).
When is my collection day?
The collection day for Horspath and neighbouring villages remains as Monday.
The recycling and non-recyclables bins are collected on alternate weeks, as follows:
- Monday 8th June, the bins to be emptied are the green recycling bin and the food waste bin.
- Monday 15th June, the bins to be emptied are the black (or grey) bin for non-recyclables and the food waste bin.
- Monday 22nd June, the bins to be emptied are the green recycling bin and the food waste bin.
- Monday 29th June, the bins to be emptied are the black (or grey) bin for non-recyclables and the food waste bin.
and this scheme continues, except for Bank Holidays when the Horspath collection day is a Tuesday.
