Horspath Parish Planning Applications

All applications for planning permission are scrutinised and commented on by the members of the Parish Council. The Parish Council does not have the power to approve or refuse an application; those powers are vested in the Planning Authority (South Oxfordshire District Council). The role of the Parish Council is consultative; to provide valuable local knowledge which helps in deciding whether applications comply with the requirements of planning law, the local plan and other planning guidance.
