No.7 (Bankside Cottage) - S side The Green, Grade II, Listed 21 May 1985

Small house. C17. Coursed limestone rubble and timber lintels; old plain-tile roof and brick stack. Formerly 2-unit through-passage plan. One storey plus attics. 2-window front has central door between 2-light casements with small 2-light dormers. Gable walls have stone parapets and several blocked windows. Small brick rear outshut. Interior: Wide open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and remains of bread oven; central stair; timber-framed cross partition. Evidence remains for passage and rear door.
